Radiologic Technologist Employment Radiologic technologists and technicians held about 174,000 jobs in
2002. Almost 1 in 5 worked part time. About half of all jobs were in
hospitals. Most of the rest were in offices of physicians; medical
and diagnostic laboratories, including diagnostic imaging centers;
